X Factor 2012: Brad Shackleton annoyed by lack of air time

Brad Shackleton (X Factor 2012)

Brad Shackleton has hit out at The X Factor over his lack of airtime on the show.

The 37-year-old made it through to the judges' houses stage of the show at the weekend, but has so far yet to feature on the main show.

Brad, who is an Motivational Speaker, had both his audition and bootcamp performances screened on ITV2 spin-off the Xtra Factor.

"Gutted I’ve had no ITV1 airtime so far. Really sucks and simply not fair," Brad claimed.

He also tweeted: “Thanks! Feel so special #noairtime.”

But despite the complaints, Brad recently insisted: "I've loved every second of The X Factor experience so far. I want to sing and perform, I want to work with the best. I want to sing in stadiums. That's why I'm here.”

Over 28s mentor Gary Barlow praised Brad this week, saying: "He's the boss, he sounds like Bruce Springsteen. He's got a great voice."

A spokesperson for The X Factor commented: “Owing to the programme running time, it is not possible to show all of the contestants’ auditions.”
