X Factor 2012 hopeful Rylan Clark has hit back at his critics in a Twitter rant.
The Essex-based performer made it through to judges' houses at the weekend, and it was a decision that didn't go down well with some viewers.
Joseph Whelan, who missed out on a spot at judges' houses, hit out at Rylan this morning: "Rylan has a great look and great personality – but the man can’t sing," he said.
Responding to the haters, Rylan ranted on Twitter today: "I've ben told not to react to all the s**t on here but I'm sorry, I'm a mouthy bastard so I'm gonna.
"I've EARNED my place at judges houses just like every other person in this comp, not everyone is going to like me, I know that, but don't judge me for doing something I've always wanted to do."
He added: "For those who are supportive thank you so much, it means the world. For those that ain't.. Go and have a w**k."
Rylan's fellow judges' houses finalist Jake Quickeden yesterday defended Rylan from the hate he was receiving online.
“Rylan is the nicest person in the world, he is talented and has a good voice, his personality is so infectious, he’s hilarious,” Jake told us.
An X Factor spokesman said earlier today: “The standard is very high this year and not all acts can make it through to the next stage.”
