The X Factor 2012 hopeful Jake Quickenden has defended Rylan Clark, saying the Essex performer deserves to be in the show.
Quite a few fans weren't too happy when Rylan went through to judges' houses at the weekend at the expense of some of the other performers in the boys category.
One viewer tweeted us: “wtf? why on earth did they let @RylanClark go through? So many others deserve it more.”
And Karen commented: “I cannot believe that the judges picked Rylan Clark & James Arthur over Joseph Whelan – judges what were you thinking? Joseph Whelan definitely deserves another chance, bring him back and give him a life line"
We caught up with Jake Quickeden yesterday and he was keen to defend Rylan from the hate.
"Rylan is the nicest person in the world, he is talented and has a good voice, his personality is so infectious, he's hilarious," Jake told us.
Saying that Rylan should have his very own reality series, Jake continued: "He made me a lot camper, he camped me fully up, that's how much of character he is.
"I think if people are judging it on talent... he does deserve to be there anyway, the judges put him trough so they must see something there
Jake also suggested that his biggest competition in the boys category was from James Arthur and Adam Burridge.
