X Factor 2012 hopeful Melanie Masson is seen struggling with bootcamp on the show this weekend.
The 44-year-old mum of two wowed the judges in Glasgow with her performance of Cry Baby by Janis Joplin during this year's auditions.
Gary Barlow raved: “Melanie that was insane, oh my god that voice, you were guiding us through the song. It was amazing, it really was.”
And Louis Walsh gushed: “Melanie where did that voice come from and where has it been? You’re 44, this is what this show is all about, finding somebody as amazing as you and giving them a chance.”
With four yeses, Melanie went through to bootcamp, but the three day stay away from her children in Liverpool was tough.
"My own bootcamp was being apart from my children," Melanie said. “There were quite a lot of tears but I had to pull myself together and do what I was there to do.
“Rua gave me her Barney, which she said was filled with all her love, and Ramsay gave me his special white fluffy teddy. I cuddled them at night.
“I know it sounds soppy but they always come into bed with us and snuggle in. It was strange being in bed without them so the teddies helped.”
Speaking to the Daily Record this week, Melanie added: "It’s so busy and full-on, you have to focus on that. It being the first time away from them, I’ve found it really, really hard.”
