Bianca Gascoigne has said she doesn't regret auditioning for The X Factor, despite getting rejected.
After performing I’m Going Down by Mary J Blige for the judges in London, Gary told her: "If I could compare you with the other 25 year olds we’ve had it’s really not good enough.
"What the other 25 year olds have is that they’ve been singing like all their lives, seriously singing. At 25 you should be a lot better than that. In general it was a bit of a mediocre audition."
Louis Walsh added: "Bianca you haven’t got a bad voice, you’ve got a great image you know but it’s tough because we’ve got some amazing singers in this category already."
Speaking after her try out, Bianca said: "I was really relieved that my audition got aired. There was some rubbish in the press over the summer saying that I had made a mess of my audition and humiliated myself.
"It was even reported that I stormed off the stage. It was great to show the public what really happened."
Speaking to the official ITV1 website, Bianca said: "You only live once. I’d have regretted it more if I hadn’t auditioned.
"I went through the proper and appropriate channels to secure my audition. There was no fast-tracking because I’m a celebrity. I even wanted to audition under a different name; I was concerned that my celebrity status would put me at a disadvantage."
And she added: "Louis actually gave me a ‘yes.’ I bumped into Louis backstage and was so lovely and comforting. He reassured me that I had a good voice and told me to take some lessons."
