X Factor singing sensation Joseph Whelan has said he's been left inspired by his son after his audition aired.
The 26-year-old performed Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin for the judges when auditions hit Manchester earlier this month.
Gary Barlow raved: "Just absolutely awesome, what a great voice, I really enjoyed that!"
And guest judge Mel B added: "You smashed it! You’re really hot, you’ve got great tattoos, and you smash things up with tools, and then you sing…done!"
Discussing his son on the show, Joseph said: "When I look at him he just lights up my life. Being a father is the best thing ever, the first time I laid eyes on him for some reason something inside of me just changed, my whole perspective on life changed completely.
"Me and his mum broke up not long back so Kian doesn’t live with me unfortunately, I do really miss that, I miss living with him. Ever since he was born I’ve been round him every day and sometimes ya know to come back from work to an empty flat, there’s just me there and I’ve got his pictures around and that sort of thing… it’s heart breaking."
Speaking to Reveal magazine about his son Kian's reaction to his audition, Joseph said: "Kian was so excited, he's been telling his friends 'My daddy's a rock star'
"He's my inspiration and I want to do this to be able to give him a good quality of life."
However Kian remained quiet about those 'DILF' comments on twitter after his performance hit the telly!
