Robbie Williams has jokingly called Cheryl Cole a 'slapper' for stealing his role at The X Factor judges' houses this year.
It was revealed over the weekend that Cheryl would be joining Take That star Gary Barlow at judges' houses this year, despite most expecting Robbie to take on the role.
Speaking on Capital FM today, Robbie joked that Cheryl 'stole' his spot on the show, but revealed he would be on The X Factor this year anyway.
"As long as there is an X Factor, there’s going to be a Robbie Williams on the X Factor – as long as people are still watching it," he said.
A source told The Sun yesterday: “Robbie will still have a role to play and an important one at that.
“Gary hasn’t snubbed him, quite the opposite.
“Robbie will be working with the guys during the live shows to help them work on stage presence and vocal performance.
“He had a blast on the show last year when he was Gary’s sidekick at the Los Angeles judges’ houses round and wants back in.”
Meanwhile Cheryl has hit back at X Factor boss Simon Cowell, saying she's only returning to the show for Gary Barlow.
Simon had tweeted a "welcome back" to Cheryl, however she hit back yesterday: "I saw Simon’s tweet.
"I’m not doing this for him. I am doing this for Gary as he’s my friend and he asked me to do it.”
However filming with Cheryl at judges houses ended up being delayed due to a SPIDER in a helicopter on Saturday night.
A source from Boughton House said: "She's terrified of spiders - but after it had been removed, she was cool as a cucumber. The ride itself didn't faze her at all."
Both Robbie and Cheryl are expected to perform on The X Factor live shows later this year.
The X Factor 2012 continues this Saturday and Sunday on ITV1.
