X Factor hopeful Christopher Maloney has said he wants Gary Barlow as his mentor, if he's lucky enough to make it past bootcamp.
The 34-year-old wowed the judges with his cover of Bette Midler's The Rose on Saturday night.
"You stole the show today, nobody else is going to get that reaction," Louis Walsh told him.
Tulisa added: "Christopher I am so happy that you got to sing that song for your granddad and I’m telling you that he is up there and he can see you and he is the proudest man in the world."
We caught up with Chris today to chat about his audition, and asked him which of the four judges he would love to be his mentor.
"All the judges gave me positive comments, they all did, but the one person I would love to be my mentor has got to be Gary Barlow," Chris told us.
He explained: "I've so much respect for the man, he's absolutely fantastic. As a singer, a performer, as a song-writer, everything... judge!
"He's so fantastic, and I've really got a lot of respect for him."
But Chris wasn't counting his chickens just yet, adding: "That's if I was lucky enough to get that far of course, as these things don't happen to people like me!"
With a voice like Chris', we hope they do!
We'll find out how well Chris does at bootcamp later this month.
