X Factor star Amy Mottram has revealed she hopes to inspire her mum to audition next year.
The 16-year-old from Essex wowed the judges with her cover of Adele's One and Only to make it through to bootcamp on last night's latest show.
Gary Barlow raved: "The confidence in your voice, and the technique... it's gorgeous."
And Louis Walsh told the teenager: "Amy, where did the voice come from? This little girl, this big soulful voice, you're the reason I love this job. You've got soul and it's a big yes."
Speaking after her audition aired last night, Amy reacted: “Getting good feedback from the judges makes you realise someone does believe in you.”
The teenager told The Sun this morning that she hopes her success will inspire her mum Julie to audition next year!
She said: “My mum sings but she’s never done it professionally. It’s something she is really good at.
“She inspired me to start singing. I’d love her to do it as I know how good she is, and by doing this I can make her confident and she can try out. She’s definitely good enough.”
Meanwhile, Amy has revealed how she loves Amy Childs after the TOWIE star picked her as a winner of a local talent show recently.
"It was amazing for Amy to pick me. I do watch The Only Way Is Essex. It’s one of those things you just have to," Amy said.
