Superdrug worker Mitch Summers made it through to bootcamp on the show last night, after impressing the judges with his unique voice.
Speaking before his audition, Mitch said about his job: "I do love working there, but I want to sing. My colleagues are always daring me to sing to customers! I sing all the time, when stacking the shelves, when giving change..."
Mitch performed Willow Smith hit Whip My Hair for the judges, an unusual choice which seemed to work for the young singer.
"I think you have good vocals, a quirky image and are a bundle of fun, an that's what this competition needs," Tulisa told him.
"Differeet image, different song... not the best vocal but you've got something!" Louis Walsh said.
Gary however wasn't totally convinced, telling him: "I thought the vocal was good, not amazing."
Guest judge Rita Ora on the other hand was completely won over, raving: "I think you're a breath of fresh air, I think you made it your own."
Despite Gary's comments, it was four yeses for Mitch who sails through to bootcamp!
The X Factor continues on Saturday and Sunday on ITV1.
