GMD3 impressed the judges at auditions in London on The X Factor 2012 tonight.
GMD3 is a trio made up of Greg, Micky and Dan – so you can quickly see where they’ve got their name from!
The boys, who formed the group whilst at school, have already had a small taste of success, having supported US singer Alexis Jordan on tour and notched up an impressive fanbase on Twitter and Facebook.
Speaking to the judges on stage about their name, the group explained: "It's just our initials... and then there are three of us too."
"That's clever, I like it!" laughed Gary Barlow.
The group performed for Gary, Louis Walsh, Tulisa and then guest judge Nicole Scherzinger as auditions hit the capital in London.
[tag]GMD3[/tag] performed Boyz II Men hit I'll Make Love To You, and it seemed to be a good choice for the hunky young lads.
Gary and Tulisa seemed impressed with the vocals, while Nicole got into the song as she swayed her arms.
Meanwhile the arena filled with high pitched cheers and screams as thousands of young girls got to their feet for the boys.
Gary Barlow said: "I've got a feeling you're going to need to get used to these cheers. That really was a terrific audition, individually your voices are amazing but when they blend it's this gorgeous sound."
Louis Walsh said: "This is what I've been looking for, I feel the same way about this band as I did when I first saw JLS."
Tulisa said: "Not only are you a good looking but your vocals are on point!"
