Melanie McCabe returns to The X Factor 2012 this weekend to wow the judges.
The Irish singer had made the judges' houses stage of the show last year, but was cut by mentor Kelly Rowland just before the live shows.
Undeterred, Melanie returned to the show for a third attempt this year as auditions hit Manchester.
Sporting a new look, with lovely brown hair in a flower print dress, Melanie performed Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water for the panel.
Tulisa, Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and guest judge Mel B were clearly all very impressed, while the audience were on their feet after the performance.
After making bootcamp in 2008, judges' houses in 2011, will 2012 be the year that Melanie makes it all the way to the live shows?
Melanie's audition will air on the show this weekend, as the X Factor begins to takeover our weekends.
The X Factor 2012 airs both Saturday and Sunday on ITV1, with the Xtra Factor following shows on ITV2.
As well as auditions such as Melanie's from Manchester, this weekend's double bill will see try outs from London with guest judge Leona Lewis and performances from Liverpool with Geri Halliwell.
