X Factor star Jake Quickenden has said he'd love to resuscitate Cheryl Cole!
The 23-year-old life guard impressed the judges on Saturday night with his performance of Use Somebody by The Script.
Tulisa raved: "Jake, the lifeguard, I’m quite excited by that audition and the ladies seem to absolutely love you"
Speaking about watching the show back this week, Jake said: "It was so surreal. I was blown away by the whole episode – it full to the brim with talent.
"I popped into town today and so many people approached me for autographs and photos. I was so flattered to be asked. What an honour!"
In an interview with the official ITV1 X Factor website, Jake revealed he'd save Gary first if the judges were drowning, claiming him to an "idol" of his.
He said: "It would have to be Gary. He is a legend and an idol of mine. Plus he’d have to take me to the pub afterwards by way of thanks. I’d love to sink back a few ales with Gary."
And asked which celeb he'd love to give "mouth to mouth" to, Jake added: "Ooh, it’d have to be Cheryl Cole. I’d gladly take her in my arms and her."
