X Factor winners Little Mix have told Lucy Spraggan to "stay humble and grounded" if she makes the live shows.
21-year-old Lucy wowed the judges with her own track Last Night two weeks ago, charting in the Top 15 with the single in the most recent charts.
But Lucy found herself having to take her music off iTunes after bosses imposed a new rule that banned contestants from having music available.
“If you’re involved in the competition you can’t have anything out, that’s just the rules, but she’s going to have many records when she leaves The X Factor anyway, so she’s got nothing to worry about," Little Mix's Leigh-Anne said.
She gushed: “She’s incredible. We watched her audition and she’s so clever.
“My advice would be to just stay humble and grounded. Don’t change and keep doing what she’s doing, because her act is so original and I think she’ll definitely do very well.
“She’s got a good chance. I think she’s brilliant. She should continue writing her own songs and bringing that originality to the competition, I think she’ll be fine.”
Little Mix topped the charts on Sunday with their own track Wings, making it their second number one since winning the show last December.
