Louis Walsh has said that the personalities on The X Factor UK make it the best series in the world.
Louis appeared on the US version of the show earlier this year, filling in for an ill Simon Cowell alongside the likes of Britney Spears.
But while the American panel may have bigger names than our show, Louis reckons the contestants aren't nearly as good.
“I did two days on the American show because Simon was sick. I was sat with Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and LA Reid," he said. “I’d work on any of the X Factor shows around the world. I love it."
Speaking to The Sun, Louis added: “But I do think the UK X Factor is different, I think it’s got the edge on everything because we always continued great personalities.
“The people that show up are incredible. The shows deliver pop stars like Olly Murs, One Direction, Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis... it’s not necessarily the people who win the shows that are successful."
He added: “I mean, look at Jedward. They didn’t win but they’re still working all the time. Kids love them.”
But Louis did confess that he missed sitting alongside Simon Cowell on the UK panel.
He told the tabloid today: “I miss Simon. He’s honest – he’s always looking for people who will sell records.”
