Kye Sones (X Factor 2012)

X Factor star Kye Sones has revealed he hopes to become a male version of Adele.

The 30-year-old impressed the judges on Saturday night's latest audition show with a mash up of Whose going to save the world tonight by Coldplay RIP by guest judge Rita Ora.

Rita gushed: "Kye, Oh my gosh. You made RIP sound so cool man! Can I tell you something….you’re a superstar! You’re an actual superstar"

While Louis Walsh added: "We’re looking for The X Factor and I think we found The X Factor in you."

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Kye revealed like a lot of this year's contestants, he's also a big song writer.

He told the tabloid: “Song writing is so important.

"There are no male Adeles out there, there’s a massive gap for a British guy."

He added: “Adele’s amazing and she’s sold millions. They’re such big songs, that’s the kind of thing I’m into.”
