X Factor 2012: Lucy Spraggan's 'Last Night' makes iTunes Top 40

X Factor hopeful Lucy Spraggan has already made the iTunes Top 40 with her track Last Night.

Lucy performed the self-penned track, which she has previously released for download, on the show tonight.

Unsurprisingly the promotion of the track to millions of viewers has seen it shoot up the charts.

At the time of writing it's sat at number 29 in the Top 40, and will no doubt to continue to climb over the weekend.

Lucy's previously released album Top Room At The Zoo is also receiving attention, and is currently number three in the respective chart.

After her performance of Last Night on The X Factor this evening, Lucy had the judges gushing!

Tulisa raved: "Oh Lucy, you have completely and utterly got me sold, that song there is going straight on my ipod. That clever, kind of rappy singing, it’s funny, it’s intelligent the way you put your lyrics in… I love it, I just love it!"

Louis Walsh meanwhile seemed overwhelmed, telling Lucy: "I’ve been doing this nine years and we’ve never had anybody like that."

And with the audience chanting for more, it was an easy for yes for the judges as Lucy went through to bootcamp.
