X Factor 2012 judge Nicole Scherzinger has claimed that the UK show is "more fun" than its US counterpart.
Nicole, who joins the panel this year after getting the axe from the American show, described British talent as "beautiful" in a chat with Radio 1's Scott Mills.
"I think it’s more fun over here [the UK], there’s a lot more characters, the talent is really raw and home grown," the former Pussycat Doll singer explained. "It’s beautiful the talent over here, I’m REALLY impressed. I’m blown away."
Speaking on the phone from LA, the glam singer went on: "I love all the other Judges, I do, I get along really well with them….I’d never met Tulisa but she’s such a cool chick."
Nicole also revealed she was loving the guest judges, describing Mel B as "ruthless" after Saturday night's audition show.
She said: "I think it’s great that they got to have people like Mel B and Anastacia and I know they have a lot of other Guest Judges coming up too so they get to mix it up.
"[Mel B] was ruthless I loved it! … she gave Simon Cowell a run for his money."
And Nicole claimed that she was offered the permanent judging role on the first day she appeared as a guest judge at the London try outs back in May.
She told Radio 1: "I originally came on to Guest Judge one show in London and then the first day I was there they asked me to stay permanently."
The X Factor continues tomorrow night (August 25) on ITV1.
