X Factor stars Jedward have claimed they saved the show back in 2009 by reinventing the search for talent.
The pair of Irish twins finished sixth on the show three years ago, and have gone to make millions after doing everything from Celebrity Big Brother to the Eurovision Song Contest.
The duo, still managed by their mentor on the X Factor Louis Walsh, have also made case from adverts and appearances in movies.
As well as that, they've also released some actual music.
Edward said this week: "The year me and John were on the X Factor it was all about the voice and everyone was like 'oh it's all about the singing'. Now they want to find stars, they want to find people who are different."
John added: "I think me and Ed singlehandedly recreated the X Factor show, we made it to try and find somebody who is not just a singer but someone who is everything - someone who is able to sing, dance..."
The 20-year-old twins told this year's wannabes to be "cool" in order to make it in the industry.
Edward told Lorraine on ITV1 earlier this week: "Someone who has a lot of potential, someone who's not just about singing, someone who can do everything, become like a brand.
"So you've got to have a really, really cool brand name like Jedward - it's just Jedward," said John.
