X Factor judge Tulisa has revealed she wants to mentor the girls category this year.
After winning on her first series with the groups, becoming the first judge ever to mentor the category all the way to the final, Tulisa now hopes to find the next Leona Lewis or Alexandra Burke.
“The X Factor has always been a credible show to me because it’s about raw talent," Tulisa told the official ITV1 X Factor website today. “We’ve seen so much talent this year — urban acts, rappers, soul singers, the lot.
“I can’t wait to find out who I’ll be mentoring — I’d love it to be the Girls.
Tulisa also dispelled any rivalry between her and Louis Walsh, following his comments about her being a "chav in a tracksuit."
The N-Dubz star laughed off his comments, explaining: "I texted him straight away and he messaged me back.
“He said, ‘T, it’s all just a bit of fun!’ He says stuff like that to wind me up. He’s such a drama queen and loves a good gossip."
Meanwhile the 24-year-old insisted she wasn't a diva, but did confess to having the "occasional 'off' day".
She added: “Am I a diva? Nah, not really. Though we all have the occasional ‘off’ day.”
