After some of last year's backstage bustups and shenanigans, which ended up with Frankie Cocozza being booted out of the show, Tulisa has vowed to take a tough approach to mentoring.
She warned the potential stars: “They need to have the right attitude. You could have the most talented person standing up there but you see someone who’s got a bad attitude, they’re just gonna go within the early weeks.”
However being on Tulisa's team won't be a case of all work, no play.
In an interview with The Sun, Tulisa said: "I make space for playtime. You saw me taking acts out clubbing last year on days when they didn’t have work the next day.
“I like my acts to enjoy the process. It’s not meant to be this gruelling military operation.”
The X Factor continues on Saturday nights on ITV1.
