The 16-year-old wowed the judges with an emotional audition on last night's series opener, performing an original song dedicated to her grandfather's passing.
Guest judge Mel B gushed: "Whoever, or whatever you wrote that song about those words, I’m sure, hit a chord with everyone. Your song writing is so clever. It made me go into my own little world, and go Oh my God – I felt like that at one point, and that’s hard to do as a song writer.
"And when you sang it, you just made me believe every single word, I was right there with you. What we just witnessed was incredible, absolutely incredible."
Gary Barlow added: "That performance was absolutely out of this world, it really was. That was really something special, thank you very much for that."
Ella admitted she was overwhelmed by the positive reception from the judges, saying that their reaction was the most important after performing her own track.
The teenager, who has just finished her GCSEs, also revealed how she warms up for her performances by pretending to be a DOLPHIN.
Based on her performance last night, it certainly seems to work!
Ella will next be seen on the show in bootcamp.
