The X Factor 2012 finalists could find themselves being mentored by Olympic heroes, if Simon Cowell gets his way.
In one of the more bizarre stories of the week, The Sun reports today that the X Factor boss wants Mo Farah to help coach the contestants.
The newspaper reports that Mo's planned appearance on the show will be part of a "special Olympics-themed spectacular" for the live shows.
The double gold medalist at this year's London 2012 games will be join by other Team GB members to give the contestants "pep talks".
“Teaming up with our athletes means they can offer training and pep talks," a source told the newspaper.
The supposed insider added: "People like Mo know about dedication and hard work. It’s only right we invite them to help us shape our future pop stars.”
