BBC bosses are potentially after two new coaches for the second series, after Sir Tom Jones and Jessie J reportedly left the series.
And it seems that Rita's guest judging stint on The X Factor has caught the attention of Beeb chiefs.
The 21-year-old singer proved a hit with audiences in London, but a hectic schedule meant it wasn't possible for her to join the panel full time for the live shows in the autumn.
Star magazine report that bosses are also looking at signing up Anastacia, who also guest judged on The X Factor this year.
The American star had originally been offered the full time role in replace of Kelly Rowland, but turned it down due to other commitments.
Former X Factor judge [tag]Cheryl Cole[/tag] however remains the favourite to join pal Will.i.am on the line up.
A source told the magazine: "There are lots of big names in the frame, including Rita Ora, Anastacia and even Danny Minogue, but Cheryl would be a dream signing."
"Everyone knows she's right for the gig but it's just a matter of making it work."
The supposed insider added: "Everyone at the BBC loved Cheryl when she performed on the show... bosses are convinced she would be a hit."
The new series of [cat]The Voice UK[/cat] starts next year.
