The Voice UK runner up Tyler James has said he can't wait to get into the studio to start writing.
The singer, who finished behind winner Leanne Mitchell on last night's final, has already been recording with Voice UK coach Will.i.am.
He told us: "The reason any of us went into this is because we want to be artists. We want to make music, we want an album out. It's just about resting a little bit to go and do that."
Speaking about his plans for after the show, Tyler revealed: "I cannot wait to get in the studio, I can't believe I'm going to... YES!
"I can not wait, can not wait to just sit there with pen and paper on the keyboard writing my arse off.
"Ahh, I'm a happy boy."
Tyler has previously released material with another record label, including 2005 single Foolish which peaked at 16 in the charts, but said he wanted to leave the past behind.
"I want to do new stuff, I wrote that eight years ago, I'm in a totally different place of my life," the 30-year-old revealed. "I'm proud of what I did then, but it's not me anymore."
