The Voice UK: Justin Bieber, Adele, Flo Rida, Kelly Clarkson turn down duets with finalists

Adele BRIT Awards

A batch of stars including Justin Bieber and Adele have turned down duets with The Voice UK finalists.

According to the Daily Star, bosses had been in talks with Justin Bieber, Adele, Flo Rida, Kelly Clarkson and David Guetta.

The newspaper claims that the stars all turned down offers, leaving the artists to sing with their own coaches.

Bo, who was apparently meant to be singing alongside Adele (what a duet that would've been!), said: “I really wanted to sing with her.”

Fortunately, bosses did manage to get Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5 to perform on the final this Saturday.

A spokesperson for the show however denied that duets were ever planned.

They told the tabloid: “The Voice format has been adapted for UK audiences. We never planned to have other artist duets for the final.”
