Yesterday, the four remaining artists in Will.i.am's team performed live for the public's votes.
Favourite Jaz Ellington topped the public vote and therefore went straight through to the semi-finals.
It left Will.i.am to decide between Frances, Joelle and Tyler James who to save.
Opting to take Tyler through to the next round, 17-year-old Wakefield star Frances and 21-year-old diva songstress Joelle left the competition.
"Frances you were fantastic, you knocked it out of the box," Will said. "Joelle, you were incredible, we struggled on song choice [at first] but we got there. Tyler, you were smooth and cool... I was proud of everybody."
He added: "So, for this...we've learned a lot together and had a whole bunch of fun, but now it's battle time. Jaz went through and he's a solider, and I follow my gut, I'm preparing for battle and I'm going up against Jessie, Tom and Danny. I need somebody who given any scenario comes out with fighting colours, an that's Tyler."
The Voice UK continues next Saturday night on BBC One.
