The Voice UK 2012: Our favourites from the third live show

Frances Wood

It was Team Tom and Team Will back performing live for our votes on The Voice UK last night, with some brilliant performances.

If we're honest however, some of the song choices were a tad disappointing, and we don't actually think any single artist managed to really show off to their full potential yesterday.

None the less, here are our free favourite performances from the night's line up, let's just hope none of them leave this week!

Ruth Brown

This performance was quite something, if it did get quite a bit shouty towards the end. We're loving Ruth and tonight she didn't disappoint. A bit of work on her diction is needed to make her perfect, but we don't see her missing out on a spot in the semi-finals with such an amazing voice! Watch Ruth singing Next To Me below...

Frances Wood

We're not sure that this song is really Frances' style having seen some of her original stuff, but she managed to make the iconic dance track her own. The teenager from Wakefield impressed us not only with her lovely rough tone but also her rather fabulous outfit! Watch Frances singing Show Me Love below...

Leanne Mitchell

Leanne Mitchell had the tough task of opening last night's show, but the former seaside resort entertainer took it in her stride. Belting out Nina Simone's classic Put A Spell On You in a floor length black dress, the classy performance won us over, we just hope that the early start won't prevent her from getting to the semi-finals! Watch Leanne below...
