Eliminated The Voice UK finalist Sam Buttery has insisted that this won't be the end of the line for his singing career.
The fabulous performer became one of the first acts to leave the competition tonight after being in the bottom two of Team Tom alongside Matt and Sueleen.
Sir Tom decided to save the duo over Sam, saying: "What I think is that Sam and Matt & Sueleen are great entertainers and it's very, very difficult because they are so different. But I can only judge it on last nights' performance. And I think I'm going to take Matt & Sueleen."
Speaking to Voice UK host Reggie Yates after his exit tonight, Sam said: "When I got the news I was thinking 'Oh No, I'm not going to work with Tom anymore', but then I thought, 'This isn't the end for me'."
He went on: "I'm going to be on people's screens a lot more, whether people want me on their screens or not!"
Sam, who was eliminated alongside [tag]Sophie Griffin[/tag] this evening, added: "I feel like I'm meant to be doing something, and I hope it happens.
"I'm just so grateful for the opportunity, I can't wait to get started."
The Voice UK 2012 continues next weekend on BBC one.
