The Voice UK: Sir Tom Jones confident in his strong team

Tom Jones (The Voice UK)

Confident Sir Tom Jones reckons the artist in his team have what it takes to win The Voice UK.

The Welsh singer will see his five acts perform live for the first time on Saturday night, and he's not worried.

Sir Tom reckons that [tag]Sam Buttery[/tag] could follow in his footsteps, and said of teenager [tag]Ruth Brown[/tag]: "I heard something in that girl's voice I haven’t heard in a long time."

In an interview with Radio Times, Sir Tom added: “I like to see new talent emerging and it was important in the auditions that we didn’t know the stories of the people performing or even what they looked like.

"We’re not thrown by the fact that someone might have five children and been trying to make it for ten years.”

But despite the bragging, one of Sir Tom's acts will leave the show at the weekend after the public have had their say.
