One of our personal favourites favourite Kirsten Joy lost out to Toni Warne in a battle which their coach Jessie J described as "TV history", while Jenny Jones' powerful vocals failed to overcome Joelle Moses in the battle of the divas.
After failing twice on The X Factor before, it was another no for Heshima Thompson, who lost out to Tyler James when coach Will.i.am threw the pair a "curveball" with an unusual song choice.
Jay Norton held his own against Jaz Ellington, but it wasn't enough to keep him in the competition, while youth beat experience when Ruth Brown triumphed over former Five Star singer Denise Pearson.
