This weekend's instalments of the hit talent contest sees the coaches pair off their artists to sing competitive duets, before choosing one person from each head-to-head to go through to the live shows.
But in a chat with Fabulous magazine, 31-year-old Danny explained that one particular battle is still playing on his mind.
"I put Max Milner and Bill Downs up against each other and it was the stupidest thing I've ever done in my life," said The Script frontman.
"They are both top talents and I thought by putting them against each other it would be clear which one should go through."
He added: "I'm not surprised at how wrapped up I've become in it because I go at everything I do hell for leather."
The Voice UK's Battle Rounds air in a double bill this Saturday at 7.00pm and Sunday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
