The Voice UK coaches will each be forced to axe one of their own contestants when the live shows start next weekend, it has been claimed.
After this weekend's double Battle Round special, just 20 acts will be left, five in each of Jessie J, Danny O'Donoghue, Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am's teams.
It is thought that two teams will compete each week, with the public voting to save their favourites.
In the results show, the three acts in each team with the most votes will be safe, whilst it'll be up to the coaches to decide which of the bottom two artists to save from elimination, Radio Times reports today.
The first Voice UK live show is set to start on Saturday, April 28 at 7PM, while the results will air on the Sunday.
As reported previously today, the The Voice UK Sunday results show will be per-recorded on the Saturday.
The results shows will also feature musical guests, with Emeli Sandé set to appear on the first results. Other names confirmed include the Scissor Sisters, while Cheryl Cole is rumoured to also be performing.
This weekend [cat]The Voice UK[/cat] airs both Saturday and Sunday, with the coaches whittling down their acts from 10 to 5 in a series of battle rounds.
The show continues on BBC One at 7PM on Saturday.
