The Voice UK artists have 'more freedom' than on X Factor, says Paloma Faith

Paloma Faith - The Voice UK Battles

Danny O'Donoghue's Voice UK advisor Paloma Faith has said that the contestants on the show are given more freedom than on The X Factor.

Speaking about her role in this weekend's battle rounds, Paloma said that she and Danny let the artists be themselves.

"It's better on The Voice because they dress the way they want rather than on the X Factor where they're all styled and manufactured," she said.

The 'Upside Down' singer added: "On the voice they are what they are rather than it being put on top of them."

But despite the praise of the show's format, Paloma hasn't seen the show yet because she doesn't have a TV.

"I didn't actually watch the first episode of the voice because I don't have a television," she explained. "I don't really like watching telly, I just like watching films which I watch on my laptop."
