The 25-year-old experienced some success in her late teens, touring with Swedish DJ Basshunter after performing on the nightclub circuit.
Soon after, she sadly was struck down by meningitis, but she overcame the disease and took up a job at a pub, where she sings while pulling pints.
Jenny entered The Voice UK hoping it would give her the chance to play on 'huge stages' - and luckily for her, her rendition of Duffy's 'Mercy' won over will.i.am and Danny O'Donoghue, prompting them to spin their chairs.
"I knew if I pressed the button somebody was gonna press the button after me, so I was waiting till the last minute because the very first sound that came out you," teased Will. "I was like, wow, she got something special."
"I pushed at the end because it is a hard song to sing, and I wanted to see how you did on the high notes, particularly with your falsetto," explained Danny.
But the Black Eyed Peas frontman needn't have worried, as after some deliberation, she decided to become his eighth artist.
