The Voice UK hopefuls get vocal coaching before they even audition for the show, it has been revealed.
The show's Hannah Berney, who joined Team Danny on last weekend's show, revealed how the programme supports the artists every step of the way.
“They give you so much support," the blonde beauty told The Sun. The show is the biggest opportunity of our lives and they don’t want people to be put in the spotlight without any preparation.”
And she took a swipe at rival show Britain's Got Talent, saying she felt the Voice UK judges were better than Simon Cowell: “He’s more of a music mogul. I don’t know if he could coach, telling you how to exactly change your voice etc. But the feedback on The Voice is really vocally centred.”
A spokesperson for the BBC confirmed: “The Voice helps artists to be the best they can be, so they get help every step of the way, including vocal coaching and band rehearsals.
"The audition process is one of support.
"Everybody who auditions gets something out of it.”
