The Voice UK: Bill Downs impresses coaches at blind audition

The Voice UK

Singer Bill Downs is set to impress the coaches on The Voice UK tomorrow night, having gone solo from his group The Tracks.

The 23-year-old from Norwich will be hoping to convince at least one of the show's superstar coaches - Jessie J, Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue - to press their buzzer and turn around with his performance.

Speaking to local newspaper EveningNews24 about the show, Bill said: “I have known from quite a young age that I was able to sing but I was quite nervous. I don’t like being the centre of attention but now I have learned to cope with it.

“When other musicians started saying, you have something really good there, I thought, maybe I should do something with this otherwise it will be a waste.”

The singer will be seen performing his take on Plan B track She Said when the Voice UK auditions continue at 7PM tomorrow on BBC One, but will the coaches like what they hear? Tune in to find out!

Also appearing this weekend are former actress Allyson Brown, ex-X Factor hopeful Joelle Moses and Welsh beauty Hannah Berney.
