Vince Kidd (The Voice UK)

The Voice UK favourite Vince Kidd has said that he wants to become the next Jessie J.

The singer impressed all four of the show's coaches on Saturday night, and no doubt millions of viewers at home with a unique take on Madonna classic Like A Virgin.

But Vince, who previously made The X Factor live shows as part of boy group Futureproof, confessed that his performance was held back by his nerves.

And he revealed: "I was very, very nervous when I walked out, I needed a wee!”

However despite having to cross his legs, Vince wowed all of the coaches, which he said was an "absolutely crazy" experience.

We saw Vince decide to join Team Jessie on Saturday night, and explaining his decision this week, the 21-year-old singer said he wanted to follow in her footsteps.

He explained: "A lot of people say to me I pull faces like Jessie J.

"Jessie J is the kind of artist I want to be, she’s something different, she putting her stamp on pop music. Her voice is one of the most exciting I’ve ever heard."

He added: "All I can really do is sing so it’d me amazing if I could win the voice, I really want my dreams to become a reality."
