The Voice UK coaches are reportedly jealous of Will.i.am, because he's getting paid so much more than them!
The Black Eyed Peas star has pocketed a whopping £500,000 fee for his work on the show, more than twice that of any of the other coaches.
Both Sir Tom Jones and Jessie J are understood to be getting £200,000 each, while The Script's Danny O'Donoghue negotiated a £100,000 deal.
The People report that the trio have been put out by Will, who has also been given the biggest dressing room (which he went on to turn into a studio!)
“Will.i.am has rustled a few feathers. He has got a real ego," one source told the newspaper this week. “The others reckon he is earning up to double what they are so they are not exactly over the moon.
“But what has really wound them up too is that he has taken on the role of being the boss.
“All four are equal but the way he is behaving has led them to believe they are below him. They think he has got far too big for his boots and are deeply unhappy about it.”
However Will was full of praise for his fellow coaches, saying: “I hung out in Tom’s room sitting around and talking about music and soaking up all of his wisdom. You don’t get a chance to hang out with legends like Tom often and pick his brain.
“I am honoured. In America I go and tell Cee Lo, ‘I get to hang out with Tom.’”
Similarly, Sir Tom said of The Voice’s line-up: “I was very pleased when Jessie, Danny and Will were signed up. I love the Black Eyed Peas, Danny is in a great band and Jessie is the new kid on the block. We all know what we’re talking about.”
But hosts Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates revealed that things got heated during the show's filming earlier this year.
“They are all so passionate and it has got very heated during filming," Radio 1 DJ Reggie said.
Holly added: “There have definitely been clashes.”
The Voice UK starts on BBC One on March 24.
