BBC claim ITV is "worried" about The Voice UK's potential success

BBC bosses have apparently claimed that ITV are "worried" about the potential success of The Voice UK after moving Britain's Got Talent in today's final schedules.

ITV backed off from airing Britain's Got Talent directly against the start of The Voice later this month, with the new series of BGT now starting at 8PM, rather than at 7:30PM.

However it still means that the two shows will overlap by around 20 minutes when they both kick off on Saturday, March 24.

"ITV is clearly worried. We are really disappointed and some TV fans will be too," a BBC source told the Daily Mirror today.

However a source for ITV hit back: "We want BGT in primetime and we know people love the show. We are not worried about what The Voice does."
