Aussie pop star Kylie Minogue has reportedly been ruled out of The Voice UK, because BBC bosses can't afford to splash out millions to get the global singer to sign up for the new show.
It was revealed yesterday that the BBC wanted Kylie for the show, but weren't prepared to shell out millions for her or any other stars.
But with pop princess asking for a whopping £2.5 million to take part in the programme, show chiefs had to give up.
A source told The Mirror: "We just can't afford to pay those big salaries."
It's a crushing blow and one sure to give rival X Factor a big boost, with its commercial backers Simon Cowell and ITV able to give multi-million pound deals for their judges.
However even then, they ended up with Louis Walsh.
