The new series of the ITV singing contest continues Saturday night at 8PM.

In the second week of auditions, coaches will.i.am, Jessie J, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones make their commute to the studio in Manchester by tram, much to the surprise of other passengers.

And everyone on board gets a upbeat start to the working day when the foursome bursts into song.

Danny whips out his guitar as the four piece sing a cover of Will.i.am’s Black Eyed Peas song I Gotta Feeling.

When the coaches arrive in the studio it’s on with the business of finding bright young singers for their teams.

Whether duos or solos, each act is hoping to take one of nine spots each coach has on their teams.

Last week’s first round of blind auditions saw each coach end up selecting two acts for their line ups.

This Saturday night, we meet more duos including a brother and sister pairing, Sweet Harmony, who step up to the mic and viewers may recognise a returning singer.

Unlucky last year, this boy is back to try again.

As always, hopeful contestants sing to the backs of the coaches who can turn around to pick an act for their team if they like what they hear.

If more than one coach turns, it’s in the hands of the act on stage to decide which team to join.

Ultimately, viewers will decide the winner of The Voice Kids in a live final later this year.

The prize for the winner is a £30,000 bursary towards their music education plus a family trip to Orlando.

For now, the blind auditions continue Saturday night at 8PM on ITV.
