The Voice Kids 2019: David and Ammani get four turns for Black Eyed Peas cover

David and Ammani perform

David and Ammani's got all four coaches to turn on The Voice Kids with a Black Eyed Peas cover.

This year's series of The Voice Kids UK sees Will.i.am, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones all return to the iconic red chairs.

And for the brand new season, they're joined by brand new coach Jessie J.

This evening saw blind auditions begin and one of the first acts to perform were a duo made up of pals 14-year-old friends David and Ammani from Dublin.

They put a spin on Will.i.am's own hit The Black Eyed Peas' Let's Get It Started for their blind audition.

Will was the first coach to turn with Jessie, Danny and Pixie all quickly following.

Although they had their pick of the teams, it's perhaps no surprise that they quickly chose to join Team Will.

"I really like your guys energy," Will told the pair.

Presented by Emma Willis, The Voice UK Kids is open to talented young soloists between the ages of seven and 14.

Up for grabs for the winner is a £30,000 bursary towards their musical education plus a dream family holiday to Orlando.

The public will ultimately crown the winner of The Voice Kids in a live final later this year.

The Voice Kids will continue next Saturday night on ITV with more blind auditions.

You can watch full episodes online via the ITV Hub.

Those who make it through the blind auditions will go on to compete in the battle rounds later in the series.
