Here are the latest odds on The Voice UK 2019 as the first live show nears.

Eight contestants have made it through to the penultimate round of the competition, with just one performance between them and the grand final.

And ahead of the semi-final this Saturday evening, the outright betting market for The Voice UK is really starting to get interesting after a flurry of interest for the Cornwall based Molly Hocking.

After last Saturday’s show, when she performed her rendition of the song ‘Human’, bookmakers BoyleSports have slashed her odds from 7/1 into 4/1 due to the recent activity. Her coach Olly Murs is looking for his first victory in this competition since joining the hit TV show.

Tom Jones won The Voice UK last year and he has his two hopefuls Cedric Neal and Deana who are sitting at 7/2 and 11/2 respectively. Cedric received a standing ovation from the crowd last weekend and was subsequently backed into 7/2 from 7/1.

The favourite Nicole Dennis remains unchanged in the market at 3/1 going into the live shows having drifted from 5/2 last weekend.

All four coaches have won this at least once except Olly Murs, whose best chance of his two contestants is the aforementioned Molly Hocking, with Jimmy Balito in at 6/1.

Sarah Kinsella, Spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “The market for The Voice UK is really wide open. The market ranges from 3/1 to 9/1 apart from the outsider NXTGEN as the 28/1 rag.

"All judges have won this once before with Tom Jones winning it twice so it would be nice to see Olly Murs get his first win, after his chance Molly Hocking performed so well last week seeing her odds crumble into 4/1 from 7/1”.
