Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson turns down The Voice, calling it "c**p"

The Voice

According to The Sun today the UK version of The Voice is already in trouble, with a large number of stars that have been approached for a judging role on the show turning it down. The paper claims that the latest star to say no to the BBC is Iron Maiden front man Bruce Dickinson.

The 52-year-old wasn't very polite in his refusal to take part in the series either, blasting the show by saying: “That show sounds so c**p and demeaning to everyone involved, I took great delight in turning the BBC down."

He added: “The X Factor is appalling enough, it’s no better than Opportunity Knocks.”

The British version of the hit music reality show is expected to air on BBC early next year.
