The duo – made up of best pals Dane Lloyd and Taylor Jones – finished second to Mo Adeniran in last year’s final.

They’re currently in the process of releasing three singles ahead of an EP called Valencia on June 22nd.

Teaming up with Blackwood Records and producer Dani Castelar, Into The Ark’s latest track Caroline is available to download and stream now.

“We’d never spent proper time in a studio before, working with one producer,” said Dane. “The aim was to keep our sound as raw as possible, and that’s what Dani did.

“A lot of the songs were recorded live, old school, sometimes in one take. We had guests come in to jam, including some Spanish drummers. It was an incredible experience!”

Their first single No Place Like Home was out in April while third track Better Than Never At All follows on June 15.

Into The Ark’s debut album is slated for release later in 2018.

Speaking to OK! magazine last year, Into The Ark revealed they were far from disappointed after missing out on The Voice UK victory.

Dane said: “I feel we have a bit more freedom being second and, fingers crossed, that’s how it will work out. We were just happy to have got as far as we did.”

While they may not have won, the pair quickly secured a high profile gig on tour with their mentor Sir Tom Jones.

The guys explained: “The day after getting to the final, we were stood round the piano and he said ‘Boys, I’ve got some good news for you’.

Dane said: “We can’t believe it. We’re so grateful to have the best mentor you could ever have … and we get to go on tour with Tom.”

Taylor added: “Does life get much better than touring with such a great guy and a Welsh legend?”
