The Voice UK's Ruti Olajugbagbe has been left stunned by her surprise victory.
It was Ruti who won The Voice UK 2018 in Saturday night's live show, beating the bookies' favourite Donel Mangena to the title.
Following her victory, Ruti said: "I wasn't expecting this... I didn't expect to get to the blind audition, I don't know what to say!"
The student praised her mentor Sir Tom Jones, saying he had "always believed in me, since the blind auditions".
"He's always been there for me and told me to be myself. It's amazing that he thinks I'm that good," she added.
Sir Tom raved that Ruti was a "wonderful, magical, sincere" singer after turning for her in the blind auditions.
Following her victory, Ruti is currently on course to top the charts come Friday.
Shortly after the live show, Ruti released her winner's song on iTunes here.
The single is a cover of The Cranberries' track Dreams, which Ruti closed the live grand final with.
The song has already shot up the iTunes chart and is currently the Number 1 download at the time of writing. The song has taken over current Official Number 1 song Freaky Friday, as well as Dua Lip and Calvin Harris new track One Kiss.
According to the midweeks chart provided by Official Charts, the track is currently Number 1 on the Top 40.
However there are less than 6,000 combined sales currently separating the Top 10, meaning it could all change by Friday when the final weekly chart is revealed.
The Voice UK airs on ITV.
The show will return in 2019 for a brand new series.
