As the Voice UK battles see the teams being to whittled down to their knockout numbers, one coach is emerging as the firm favourite to have the winner on their side.
Will.I.Am, who has only won once with Jermain Jackson in 2014, is heading the winning coach betting as the 5/4 favourite as his team shapes up to be the strongest in the competition.
Tom Jones was the first ever coach to win the Voice UK with Leanne Mitchell when the show launched in 2012, but victory has eluded the “It’s Not Unusual” hitmaker since. At 12/5 Tom is the second favourite to have the winner on his team, which may very well be Lucy Milburn who is the 5/1 second favourite in the Outright betting.
Reigning winning coach Jennifer Hudson’s chances of claiming back-to-back titles appears to be grim as she joins newcomer Olly Murs at the bottom of the betting at 10/3 apiece.
Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented “There’s just one battle round left until the Voice UK reaches the knockout stages and so far Team Will is the team to beat with Will.I.Am leading the charge for the coaches at 5/4 to win.”
She added “Will is the only coach yet to use his steal in the battle rounds while all three other coaches, Tom, Jennifer and Olly, have used their steals to back a member from the Black Eyed Peas star’s team which speaks volumes.”
