The Voice UK Olly Murs

The Voice UK was the most watched show on TV last night for its third episode of the new series.

The Voice UK's second series on ITV - and seventh overall - continued with its best audience of the series so far.

Olly Murs joins the show this year alongside returning coaches Sir Tom Jones, Will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson.

An average of 5.8 million viewers (including ITV+1) tuned in between 8PM and 9:35PM for the latest round of blind auditions on Saturday night, up 200,000 on last week's figure.

The episode peaked with 6.3 million viewers and was up 400,000 on average on 2017's equivalent instalment.

After The Voice, Through the Keyhole continued its new series with 3.6 million watching, up 300,000 week-on-week.

And earlier on ITV, Take Me Out's tenth series continued with 3.4 million, up 400,000 viewers on last weekend's episode.

Over on BBC One and new series Wedding Day Winners continued with 1.9 million tuning in, down 300,000 viewers. Earlier, new game show And They're Off... for Sport Relief with Ore Oduba had 2.6 million, down 200,000 week-on-week.

Casualty had 3.8 million, down 100,000 on last Saturday, while new drama Hard Sun continued with 1.8 million watching, 400,000 below last week and 1.6 million below the opening episode.

Pointless Celebrities was again the Beeb's top rated show with 4.2 million viewers, but down 100,000 on last weekend.

Elsewhere, Celebrity Big Brother's latest highlights on Channel 5 at 10:30PM had 700,000 viewers while 300,000 watched earlier at 9PM on 5Star.
