The Voice UK: Coaches, contestants and spoilers on the new series!

The Voice UK 2018 starts tonight on ITV – here we take a look at all you need to know from the show’s new coaches and judges to spoilers about what to expect.

What time is The Voice UK on TV on?

The first show is tonight (Saturday, January 7) at 8PM.

The Voice UK will now continue each Saturday throughout the New Year and Spring.

The opening episode will run between 8PM and 9:35PM on ITV.

Who are The Voice 2018 coaches?

This year once again sees another refreshed line up of judges as the show returns to ITV.

Pop sensation Olly Murs is joining will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson to complete The Voice UK’s panel of superstar coaches as the search for a new vocal talent returns to ITV.

Olly said: “I’m absolutely buzzing about being a coach on The Voice UK and can’t wait to sit in the big red chair alongside will, Jennifer and Tom.

Who’s hosting it all?

Emma Willis again returns to present The Voice UK. She said: “I love this time of year because, if I’m lucky enough to get invited back, it means I get to eavesdrop in on some of the most sensational singing talent that this country has to offer whilst hanging out with the megastar coaches.

“It’s an absolute treat to get to work on The Voice UK, I love every minute of it, and I can’t wait to get started.”

The show also welcomes back Jamie Miller, a finalist on the last series. As the new backstage reporter he will bring all the behind the scenes gossip to The Voice UK’s digital platforms.

As always on The Voice UK, the four coaches have their backs to the stage so can only base their decision to hit the button and spin their chair on what they hear.

Every artist must hold their nerve as each coach creates a team of talented artists using every trick in the book (including plenty of name dropping) to persuade the very best acts to join their team.

As with last year, acts who don’t get any judges having to leave the stage immediately without speaking to the panel, who will remain with their backs turned.
